This is AMAZING. One thought for early primary (kindergarten, first) is a way to cap the number size. When I selected skip counting by tens, I got skip counting by tens ... in the hundreds. And the 3 part number bond (which I was JUST doing with first graders) was packed with 2 digit numbers. We're working with numbers 10 and under for skills like that. But at the same time, number line counting within 100, and comparing within 100 is exactly what I need. Maybe have some sort of grade level preset that caps the numbers for different questions at that grade level? Might really only be needed for the littlest ones. No, wait, that's not true.... if you're using this as a warm-up for small group intervention for older kids, you also may need a way to cap the number magnitude.

The ultimate retrieval tool would be this but a Do-Now generator linked to each teacher's medium term plan! That's what we're working on as a maths department currently!

What a fantastic resource! I am looking forward to the additional content coming soon. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and passion with us.

Congratulations on releasing this!

Love this and thank you for creating it.

One thing that would make it even better for me would be an export to a Powerpoint slide or make the html smaller enough so I can quickly copy it and add it to a slide.

Craig, thanks for this excellent resource. Your Form for the survey doesn't allow multiple age groups to be selected.

This is genuinely a game-changer, addressing all the things that others haven't yet! I'll probably have some thoughts or suggestions after I've tried a few, but my first one on HCF & LCM is perfect already! Thank you very much.

I love this and the opportunities for using it in the classroom. I only have one question at this time; do you know an easy way to translate it into Dutch? If I upload the pdf in chatgpt or gemini, they kind of mess up the lay-out. And reading out loud and translating the questions in class would be less than ideal.

Looks awesome. I want to share two possible points to improve:

1. There is a lot of flashing when clicking on the options in a question. The pop-up enlarges and then shrinks again. Text (I presume LaTeX code) is shown for a quick moment and then quickly replaced. I'd rather not have the text flashing around, but instead wait a bit longer for the proper maths to appear. (Maybe this is different depending on the browser used, I tested in Firefox.)

2. I teach in the Netherlands, where we use a decimal comma instead of a decimal point and obviously use Dutch words like 'Halveer' instead of 'Halve'. Would any localization be an option? I'd be happy to help out, to prevent distracting mistakes that automatic translations usually provide.

I don’t want to downplay my initial assessment ("Great! I’m going to make ..."): After reading the comments from Eorl Osborne and seeing the Dollar issue come up, I’d like to humbly add the Euro issue (for a button, this conversion wouldn’t make any difference and would simply be fantastic squared).

Great! I’m going to make this ultimate resource available to all my math students (pre-service teachers). “Ultimate” is actually an understatement here.

Looks good, but as a teacher in Australia, if there was a way to control which skills it randomly draws from, without having to pick the 4 yourself. This should also be useful for teachers who are only halfway through year 8 for example and want questions from up to yr7 + only the year 8 skills they have covered so far.

Also the first question it gave me was in pounds, could there be a way to use tag them to convert into dollars for all money questions.

This is awesome! Excellent work, and thanks for sharing. It would be amazing to have a version that uses the US Common Core Standards to align with our teaching across the pond.
