2. Do Nows – Small Tweaks that make a Big Difference by Jody Chan
Regular readers know that I love a conversation about the Do Now. Whilst it may be the shortest phase of any lesson, it sets the tone for all that follows. Jody shares some tweaks her colleagues and she have made to their Do Nows that have improved their effectiveness.
3. Thinking About Perpendicular Bisectors by Paul Rowlandson
One for the maths geeks. Paul is back! I love Paul’s deep dives into the teaching of a topic. This time the subject is everyone’s favourite… perpendicular bisectors.

Wanted to do the same on the second link - but wasn’t sure how as I was on Wordpress not Substack? That “Do Now” seems just like Review in Rosenshine terms and, in parts, like Cumulative Review in Engelmann & Carnine language! Please pass this to that author if you have time?
