Here are three blog posts that I found interesting this week.
1. Why Motivation Theories in Education Haven't Changed in Decades (And Why It Matters for Schools) by Carl Hendrick
I am absolutely loving Carl’s posts at the moment. This one on motivation is particularly good, distilling the research and sharing the key implications for classroom teachers.
2. Posing Problems with Paper-Folding by Paul Rowlandson
One of my favourite bloggers is back - yay! Paul returns with a wonderful post about paper-folding and the mathematical questions we could ask students.
3. Dos and Don'ts of Do Nows by Dylan Kane
Regular listeners to my podcast will know that Ollie Lovell and I are on a Do Now deep-dive, so I enjoyed this post where Dylan shares his Do Now routine.
If you found this edition of 3-Read Friday useful, you might like to check out my new 90-minute online CPD workshops. But, most important of all, have a great weekend.
